While skate sizing charts can provide a guideline to assist you in selecting the correct size skate, they cannot replace a professional fitting where factors other than length and width can be assessed. Selecting the proper skate involves more than just two measurements. Factors such as height, weight, frequency of skating, skating level, ankle/heel width, instep height, age, and much more must all be evaluated to end up with the proper level and skate size.
